CroMusic is a local music player developed and provided by CroWall. It supports iOS, macOS, and watchOS, and allows users to synchronize music files, playlists, and related data across their devices using iCloud.

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how CroMusic processes, stores, and protects information related to your use of the app.

1. Information We Process

CroMusic is designed to minimize the collection of personal information.

CroMusic does not require you to create an account and does not actively collect personal information such as your name, phone number, identification information, contacts, or precise location.

To provide its core functionality, CroMusic may process the following information:

  • Music files that you choose to import;
  • Music metadata, such as song title, artist, album, duration, bitrate, and related information;
  • Playlists created by you and the songs contained in those playlists;
  • Playback status and other data related to music playback;
  • App preferences, such as language, appearance, and iCloud Sync settings.

This information is processed solely for the purpose of providing CroMusic’s features.

2. Local Storage

If iCloud Sync is disabled, your imported music files, playlists, and related information are primarily stored locally on your device.

CroWall does not upload this data to servers operated by CroWall.

Some locally stored data may be deleted if you uninstall CroMusic, delete the app’s data, or reset your device. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important data.

3. iCloud Sync

CroMusic supports synchronization through Apple’s iCloud services.

If you enable iCloud Sync, CroMusic may store and synchronize the following data through your iCloud account:

  • Imported music files;
  • Playlists;
  • Music library information;
  • Other data necessary to synchronize CroMusic across your devices.

This information is stored and synchronized using services provided by Apple and is subject to Apple’s applicable privacy policies and terms.

CroWall does not receive or store your Apple ID password and does not access unrelated information stored in your iCloud account.

You may disable iCloud Sync at any time. After iCloud Sync is disabled, subsequent data will be handled according to CroMusic’s applicable local storage behavior.

4. Music Files

CroMusic processes only music files that you choose to import.

CroMusic does not:

  • Automatically scan unrelated private files on your device;
  • Upload your music files to servers operated by CroWall;
  • Sell or provide your music files to advertisers;
  • Use your music files for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights or permissions to import, store, and play music using CroMusic.

5. Third-Party Services

Some CroMusic features may rely on services and technologies provided by Apple, including:

  • iCloud;
  • CloudKit;
  • Apple system media and playback services;
  • watchOS services;
  • CarPlay services, where applicable.

These services are provided by Apple and may process certain information according to Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

CroMusic does not use third-party advertising services to serve advertisements, and CroWall does not sell user information for advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Analytics and Diagnostic Logs

CroMusic may generate diagnostic information locally on your device for purposes such as:

  • Diagnosing crashes;
  • Troubleshooting technical problems;
  • Improving application stability.

CroWall does not actively retrieve locally stored diagnostic logs unless you voluntarily provide logs, screenshots, diagnostic information, or other materials when contacting us for support.

If CroMusic introduces third-party analytics or crash-reporting services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate to describe the relevant data processing.

7. Children’s Privacy

CroMusic is not specifically designed for children.

We do not knowingly request personal information from children or collect children’s personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Where applicable laws impose additional requirements regarding children’s privacy, CroWall will comply with those requirements.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by CroMusic.

Because CroMusic primarily stores information on your devices or in your personal iCloud account, the security of your information also depends on the security mechanisms provided by your device, Apple ID, iCloud, and Apple’s operating systems.

We recommend that you:

  • Protect your devices with a passcode or other authentication method;
  • Enable two-factor authentication for your Apple ID;
  • Keep your Apple ID credentials secure;
  • Maintain appropriate backups of important data.

9. Data Deletion

You can manage or delete data associated with CroMusic by:

  • Deleting music files from CroMusic;
  • Deleting playlists;
  • Deleting locally stored app data;
  • Disabling iCloud Sync;
  • Managing or deleting applicable CroMusic data through Apple’s iCloud management features;
  • Uninstalling CroMusic.

Data that has already been synchronized with iCloud may need to be managed or deleted through Apple’s iCloud services.

10. Sharing of Information

CroWall does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We will not disclose user information to third parties except where:

  1. You have explicitly authorized the disclosure;
  2. Disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental authority;
  3. Disclosure is legally permitted and reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of CroWall, our users, or the public;
  4. Processing is necessary to provide Apple services that you have chosen to use, such as iCloud synchronization.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to CroMusic, applicable laws, or the services used by the app.

If significant changes are made, we may provide notice through app release notes, our website, or another appropriate method.

The latest version of this Privacy Policy will apply to your continued use of CroMusic.
